DEFINITION OF WORK:

A bid writer at Favorite healthcare staffing is a communication Specialist specialized in bids. They are at the forefront of industry developments and is our client driver. They are communication professionals who align bid responses to the client’s strategic goals. They Develop a knowledge bank of bid material, evidence, and responses to facilitate strategic development and quality responses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• With the assistance from Business Development Directors, Regional/Area Directors and Senior Management Creates, develops, arranges, and submits competitive proposals that meet the specifications, expectations, and deadlines of the original bids.
• Reviews and responds to Requests for Information, Proposals and Quotes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and similar sales opportunities working under tight deadlines with consideration towards internal and external compliance.
• Analyzes proposal requests and client’s objectives to determine proposal feasibility and communicates company’s service capabilities, competencies, and solutions. Writes proposal sections and supporting documents in clear, precise, and persuasive copy that targets client’s objective.
• Utilizes existing content, writes new content as required and manages online content library to generate winning proposals and presentations.
• Analyzes opportunities and identifies key objectives, requirements, and necessary resources for successful proposal development.
• Ensure timely communication and completion of proposal and responses.
• Leads and manages in all aspects of the RFP proposal process as it relates to the research, designing, writing, editing, preparation and generation and submission of sales proposal and presentation documents.
• Resolving contract-related issues that come up during the preparing and submission of the proposal.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Must have excellent written communication skills, should be able to read and comprehend bid documents and contracts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently and with a team.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years of related bid/proposal/technical writting experience-Required
• Government contract bid writing experience- Highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or related Fields-Highly preferred.
• Software: PowerBi, Sales Force, or other similar sofware prefered.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
